Who we are
The License Desk is a trading name of Elite Digital Ai Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”, “our”). Elite Digital Ai Solutions Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Questions: support@thelicensedesk.com.
What data we collect
- Email address and message — only if you email us.
- Technical data — our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) may log IP addresses and basic request information to keep the site secure and reliable. Fonts and all other page assets are served from our own domain; no third-party font or advertising services receive your data when you browse.
- Purchase data — only if you buy a paid product: your name, email address and order details, received from our payment processor Stripe, so we can deliver and support your purchase. Stripe processes your card details on its own checkout page — we never see or store them — and handles that data under its own privacy policy.
- Practice progress — your mock test scores and revision checklist ticks are stored only in your own browser (local storage) so the site can show your progress. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it. You can also clear your checklist ticks using the checklist’s “Clear ticks” button.
We do not require accounts, and the site works without signup.
How and why we use your data
We use your data to respond to your enquiries, deliver purchases and protect the security of the site. Our legal bases under the UK GDPR are legitimate interests (running and securing the site, answering messages), performance of a contract (delivering a purchase), legal obligation (keeping tax records) and, where applicable, consent. We do not sell personal data.
Retention and your rights
Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Order records are kept for six years to meet HMRC record-keeping rules. Under the UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — email us to exercise them. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
